Agricultural Show 2013 in Paris will be in full swing from 23rd February to 3rd March. Professionals from the world of agriculture and gastronomy will come together to celebrate the event’s 50th anniversary. The Hotel de la Herse d’Or, at the heart of the Marais, is gearing up to accommodate visitors to the event.

“France’s biggest farm” is proud to be celebrating its 50th anniversary! Since 1964, this huge agricultural fair has brought this sector, such a vital part of the economy, to the general public’s attention.
To celebrate its anniversary, the leading event of the “French exception” is organising a whole host of activities. Visitors can discover the show through a special anniversary itinerary, there will be collectors’ items designed especially for the occasion, as well as a pedagogical farm.
For this anniversary year, the organisers of the agricultural show 2013 have chosen 7 “stars” to be the mascots of the event. These are all animals from the countryside selected from the best breeds!

As in previous years, the agricultural show will stand out by the presence of the best of France’s livestock. Sheep and pigs, cows, calves and bulls, horses, donkeys, ponies, poultry and even cats and dogs: all French farm animals can be found in force at the gates of Paris!
In addition to this array of animals, the Agricultural Show 2013 offers visitors the opportunity to discover the best regional specialities, including some from overseas. With tasting stands and the chance to meet the producers, visitors can learn all about France’s regional products.
