Paris Fun Fair is Biggest in World

Paris fun fair ‘ Foire du Trône‘ is once again coming to the streets of Paris and with over 300 attractions 2013 looks set to be bigger and better than ever before. The fair attracts over 5 million visitors from all over the world each year, not bad for an event which was based on a long ago medieval gingerbread fair. The fair itself is said to be the biggest of its kind in the world, and the Big Wheel is certainly the biggest of all. Try the many rides and attractions and give a thought to the origins of ‘Foire du Trône’. There’s more to this wonderful fair than just rides, and lots of stalls and traders sell everything you could imagine. The town of Montelimar works at increased capacity to produce its famous nougat in the weeks coming up the fair and it’s said that enough beer is sold to fill several Olympic swimming pools. It’s great fun for all ages and this exciting fair is going to be better than ever before in 2013.
