The Cirque Phenix presents a dazzling and breathtaking show for the whole family as CirkAfrica2 follows on from the success of its predecessor. From November 15th until January 11th under the big top installed on the lawn at Reuilly you will have an opportunity to experience the acrobatics, music, dance and colour of a truly special event. Here at the Hotel Herse d’Or we give this show our highest possible recommendation.
Out of Africa, from Soweto to Harlem, A grand entertainment
In CirkAfrica2: Soweto To Harlem, José the travelling narrator leaves Africa to see other parts of the world and finds himself in the New York district of Harlem. He is dazzled by this colourful and engaging place and to him it seems that the images and sounds he has left behind and those of his new location overlap, each reinforcing the others. The beating heart of Africa comes to the New World with spectacular consequences.
Bringing together a spellbinding mix drawn from both traditional circus performances and the world of musicals, this astonishing blend of acrobatics, juggling, aerial acts, comedy, tap dancing, ballet and gospel music has to be seen to be believed! It’s an intercontinental experience to enchant the senses.
The Cirque Phenix is the world’s largest circus tent, offering an unparalleled venue for superb shows since 2000. It’s the perfect location in which to present CirkAfrica2. With nearly 50 performers, a dozen musicians and nearly 300 brightly hued costumes, this is a show unlike any other and will leave you amazed. It’s a wonderful treat for everyone from the age of five up.
