Held between the 4th and the 19th of October, the Paris Motor Show has been celebrating France's love affair with the motor car for since 1898, and is growing larger with every year. Held at the Parc des Expositions, the Motor Show is centrally located and will be conveniently located for anyone staying at the Hotel Herse d'Or. Head over after breakfast and stay until closing at 8pm, and don't miss any of the spectacular exhibitions on display.
The Paris Motor Show is host to a wide range of events. This year's event is themed around the relationship between cars and fashion, with exhibits of classic car designs which trace the development of vehicles over the years.
Then there are the hundreds of exhibitors - the real stars of the show. Speak to experts from glamorous names like Aston Martin and Ferrari, see the latest offerings from BMW and explore what car manufacturers think the cars of the future will look like. Visit the stands of accessory and parts manufacturers to find out about the development of equipment like Sat Navs and in-car entertainment systems, and just stroll around the 96,000 square metres of exhibition space, soaking up the atmosphere at the world's most vibrant motor show. Every year, Paris sees more than 100 product launches, so something new will be on display every day. Head to late openings for music events and take advantage of free tickets for under 10s, introducing youngsters to the joys of luxury motoring and the beauty of classic cars.
