Try roller-blading in Paris if you love the feeling of the wind in your hair, being free to roam the land and see the sights, then there is a wonderful opportunity for you to join a crew of fun seeking skaters around the heart of Paris on this journey of discovery with the Rollers & Coquillages®.
Roller-blading in Paris - the sunday afternoon tours
This event was initiated in 1996 by a small group of skaters who took to the streets on a social ride. One thing led to another and the event went viral, with skaters young and old, of varying abilities, joining in on the event. After growing interest, a formal organisation was established to organise this event.
There are a number of Sunday afternoon tours scheduled, this event allows a regular crowd of over 1,000 people to join together and tour the beautiful city of Paris. Not only do you get the thrill of the ride, but you get to take in the wonderful city and meet some great people on the way.
Roller-blading in Paris - fun for all the family
These events are accessible by all. No matter whether you are young or old, family or not, there is a place for you on this event. There is a level of skating ability required in order to maintain a level of safety and progression through the track. All you need to be able to do is skate at a moderate pace and be able to stop when required. There are plenty of people on hand to assist if you need some support.
If you happen to be staying at the Hotel de la Herse d'Or during this period, then maybe you should dust off your skates and join in on this cracking event. You will be participating in a cultural, yet modern, event that you can remember for some time to come. Go ahead, get you whole family involved in the fun.
